This instrument is a model that was in the YAMAHA lineup during its partnership with the American company Schilke. By adopting an expensive rose brass (brass with a copper content of 90% or more) bell, it resonates richly, thickly, and softly with overtones. The long type has a playing feel relatively close to a trumpet, so trumpet players will not feel out of place when switching instruments according to the score's instructions. Currently, YAMAHA's long cornet is not distributed domestically and is only for export to the United States. This instrument has been customized in the workshop to maximize the potential of the YCR-332. The 1st slide has been rebuilt to a reverse configuration, and a ring-type thumb hook has been installed. The thumb hook not only allows for pitch correction during performance but also prevents the suppression of tube vibration by directly gripping the valve casing. The finger ring on the 3rd slide, which is a school equipment specification, has been replaced with a fixed type. This enables precise slide operation. The Imperial has sufficient ability to satisfy even advanced players, but there are areas where costs were saved for students. This instrument focuses on implementing the omitted parts through customization.
