This is a cassette deck with a built-in amplifier, manufactured and sold by Yamaha in collaboration with the Italian design master, Mario Bellini, a long time ago. While most cassette decks were rectangular boxes, this one's innovative design, something unimaginable to the Japanese at the time, shocked the world. It was even permanently preserved in a museum in New York, USA. Mario Bellini designed excellent industrial products in various fields, including typewriters for Olivetti and furniture for Cassina. This was purchased new by my father, who loved new things, but he stopped using it as the transition from cassettes to CDs occurred. The instruction manual and DC cord were also lost, and it was found in the storage during a cleanup after a long time. The unit is only the main body, and its operation has not been confirmed. It's a junk item, and its functionality is unknown, so please refrain from purchasing if you are particular about the quality being like new.
