This is an unreleased figure of "Boku Ponpa-kun," the promotional novelty character for 100% transistor radios and the latest color TVs of the Showa era. It was intended for counter display at electronics stores. The size is approximately 20cm. The box has been opened, but the contents are a deadstock item, still sealed in its original plastic bag with the staples intact. The figure itself, as well as the box, has some slight discoloration, but there are no tears or crushes, and it's in relatively good condition for its age.
