The design has cutouts on both sides, making it a very elaborate construction. It's perfect for A4-sized documents, as well as a place to keep your favorite stationery or magazines you're reading. In my home, I've used it for years as a place to store accessories. Based on my screen, the actual color is a bit darker walnut. [Condition] There are no major scratches, so it may look like a beautiful item from a distance, but upon closer inspection, there are some small dust particles that can't be completely removed, and there is some evidence of use. Dust on the four corners cannot be completely removed. There is some blackening on the back, although the cause is unknown. The photos don't fully capture the signs of use, and there is a bit more wear and tear. I highly recommend it to those who like a vintage feel.
