This is a step-up transformer for MC (moving coil) cartridges, made by Peerless of the USA. I've used it for a long time, but I'm selling it because I've switched to an integrated amplifier with a built-in head amplifier. I'd like to keep it, but I'm decluttering for the end of my life, so I've decided to pass it on to an enthusiast. I've used it with various cartridges such as EMT, DENON, and Ortofon, and despite not having impedance switching, it reproduced excellent sound with all of them. Being a well-known transformer, I believe it's a masterpiece. The rubber feet on the bottom are misaligned from their original positions, but they were like that from the beginning. This is a common issue with overseas products, but it didn't cause any particular problems (they are only attached with adhesive tape, so please replace them if you are concerned).
