This is a 13-string koto. It has a regular soundboard, sudatare carving, and maki-e lacquer on the tongue. There are small marks on the soundboard where the koto bridges have fallen over. These are shown in the photos. They do not interfere with setting up the bridges at all. The tongue has beautiful maki-e, but there are some minor scratches. The strings appear slightly discolored, but they are not frayed and can be played on for a long time. A full set of accessories is included: koto bridges, cat-foot bridge supports, a music stand for seated playing, a beginner's book, a tuner, etc. Accessories are included for home practice in the koto club, and shipping costs will be covered by the seller.
