A film adaptation of a popular Marvel Comics hero, similar to "Spider-Man." Matt, blinded as a boy by chemicals, trains his other "senses" like hearing and his body. By day, he's a lawyer, and by night, he's "Daredevil" in a costume, punishing criminals who evade the law. He's different from a typical hero, questioning himself as he fights violence with violence, making the complex protagonist relatable. Reflecting his inner turmoil, the visuals are also thoroughly dark. Of course, even if you don't focus on the hero aspect, you can still enjoy it as an action-packed entertainment, just by seeing Colin Farrell's over-the-top performance as the villain Bullseye, or Daredevil's superhuman power to imagine his opponent's face just from the sound of the rain.
