This is a Chinese folding fan (sensu). It features a bamboo frame and a paper fan face with a sumi-e (ink wash painting) of a landscape, calligraphy, and a red seal (rakkan). It comes with an outer box (a green patterned box). The calligraphy at the top appears to be the phrase "Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven (桂林山水甲天下)." There are light stains and small spots of dirt due to aging (please check the photos).
