This is an item from Shohido's original brand, "Kizen" of Arita-yaki. It is a rare dish that is now discontinued. It is an octagonal serving plate with the corners of the square cut off. The rim has a jagged shape called "Ige" with iron glaze. In the Saga dialect, it means "thorn." This extra touch prevents the design of the dish from becoming monotonous and tightens the overall impression.
