They were never released in Japan. These are a very rare pair of Corneliani loafers, one of a kind in Japan. They are similar to the dark brown tassel loafers with the McKay construction that I am also listing, but these loafers are a bit more delicate. The heel area is very soft. The wear on the back tips of the heels is about 2mm on both sides. The soles are quite durable. The insoles are genuine leather. They are not the common paper type. Be careful, as many brands surprisingly use compressed paper to cut costs. I always check the material of the insoles when I buy shoes. There are also many shoes that only have a genuine leather insole on top, with paper underneath. It's better than all paper, though. Regarding the degree of wear, since they are this color, it's hard to hide any imperfections. There may be some slight blackening around the heels.
