Mallet No. 62-2 Yamaha 5020 / 4 pieces (2 pairs) Cotton thread, Medium Hard Shaft: Rattan This mallet is an old Yamaha mallet model. It is thought to correspond to the current model MV-5020 [List price: 6490 yen (per pair) 12980 yen (for two pairs)], but it is slightly smaller than the current model, and therefore lighter, which is reflected in the sound. I rarely play with 6 mallets, but I consider 6 as a unit, including spares. 62-2 is frequently used, and there is some dirt on the head and shaft, and there are traces of the number written on the bottom of the head being erased. Please check the photos for the warping of the shaft, unevenness of the varnish, and other dirt on the head. In particular, the rattan shaft, unlike birch, has the "goodness of bending" but also tends to warp more than necessary, so please consider this as a home-stored item.
