Thai Folk Art Wooden Frog Guiro I bought this for my child when I went to Thailand before. When you slide the stick inserted in its mouth lightly across the ridged back, it makes a "gero gero" sound, just like a frog croaking. The sound is clearer when you hold it in your hand and play it. I remember buying the one with the best sound in the area. Frogs are considered lucky charms, and I think it can also be used as interior decoration.
