I don't see any tears or stains, but there is overall pilling. Functionally, I think you can still wear them. These were purchased several years ago, so even though they are the same "Kiwami-Dattan" (extremely warm) type of kids' leggings, they are different from the current UNIQLO "Kiwami-Dattan Heattech Cotton Tights" on sale.
