The fabric was soft, and my dog seemed comfortable wearing it, so he wore it a lot! As you can see, there are some pills on the chest area. There don't seem to be any obvious stains, and the surface doesn't have any large pills either. ^^ My dog has gotten older and I don't dress him in clothes anymore, so I'm listing this for someone who needs it. I have washed it at home and used a lint roller, but I don't think all the fur has been removed. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about it being a used item.
