I found these in the closet of a Japanese house I bought used. There are 16 in total. The previous owner was a tile maker, so the house had a lot of impressive furniture. I'm not sure what these are, but they have a lacquer-like sheen. Would these be suitable for someone who runs a shop, frequently entertains guests, or serves breakfast or set meals?
