I've created gaucho pants for plus-size individuals from a disassembled and washed antique single-layer kimono. Made of silk, the fabric has a crisp, non-clingy feel. I think these will be useful for the coming season. They have open pockets on both sides. The waist area is wide, so you can wear them comfortably.
