This is an antique item. Victorian-era brooches with chrysoberyl cat's eye are extremely rare. It is surrounded by seed pearls. When you tilt the brooch with your finger, a vertical line appears in that direction, which is unsettlingly well-made. The central chrysoberyl cat's eye stone is large, probably about 1.5 centimeters. The seed pearls are also evenly embedded, even in the gaps between the stones and in hard-to-see places. It's easy to imagine how difficult it was, as it was done by hand at the time. The safety pin to prevent it from falling off is also from that time. I think it must have been a very valuable item. Weight: 13.5 grams. It's from around 1830 AD, and the brooch itself is in good condition, suggesting it was very carefully handled.
