White dishes absorb anything placed inside them, and they still look beautiful. This one has a European-style design with a diagonally cut rim. Perfect for pasta, of course, but also for stews, Western-style simmered dishes, and salads. Even soba noodles or ramen. I don't like the clunky look often found in donburi bowls, and I was looking for something a little more refined when I found these. It was a shop that specialized in white dishes. These have been used for a while, so they are not new, but there are no noticeable scratches or chips. Dishwasher and microwave safe. I'm selling these as part of my year-end cupboard cleaning.
