Studied under Master Miya in 1945. Became independent as Fujieda Kobo in 1970. Certified as a Traditional Craftsman in 1981. Awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon in 1998. Received the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Sixth Class, in the spring of 2002. Fujieda Kobo is a shop located in the Morioka Handmade Village in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, that manufactures and sells Nanbu ironware. I believe you will be satisfied with the product when you hold it in your hand. The product has been treated with a traditional baked-on oxide film. You can use it without any problems, such as for iron supplementation. The twisted handle is fixed, and the attachment is secure.
