Thank you for viewing. This is a V.T. control knob for the early PE. For those who own an early PE from 1977 to 1981, the deterioration of the knobs is likely a concern. They deteriorate more than other plated parts, and it's not uncommon to find them rough, peeling, and lacking any luster. This is a new current PE-1500 reissue that has been aged. The aging is light; it may feel subtle compared to well-used vintage pieces, but it's just right considering the aging that will occur with use. New knobs, of course, have a shiny plating that doesn't suit vintage guitars. However, it takes a long time for them to age. Therefore, I've made them look aged so you can use them without any discomfort. Please note that I have not used any physical processing like sandpaper or compound. The current reissue has a vinyl printed veneer that looks like the top wood. Instead, I've processed and fitted a striped ebony veneer, and the texture is better than the original (rosewood). The difference from the original is that there is an adjustment screw on the side of the knob. A hexagon wrench is required. Also, because each one is processed by hand, no two will have the same appearance, and there will be variations in the aging, so please understand this before purchasing.
