I bought it because I needed a large bag for travel, but I only used it then and have kept it in storage, so the fabric is still firm and in good condition. (The coating on the inside of the grip that bundles the shoulder harness is slightly sticky, possibly due to aging.) - There is one pocket on the outside side. - The main compartment has no dividers. - There is padding on the back panel that rests against your back when you wear it. - Shoulder straps are sold separately and are not included. - It seems that it can be stored compactly in the included mesh pouch (I have never put it in).
