I purchased this item a long time ago at an antique fair for a considerable sum, but I've forgotten the details. It might not be possible to make a whole kimono from it, but you could make various items by using the best parts, and I think you'll enjoy it. The pattern and colors seem to have a unique atmosphere that you don't see nowadays. If you're concerned about the fabric for a kimono, you could use it for a juban (undershirt) or enjoy it in any way you like. There are also embroidered designs, making it quite luxurious.
