The futai (decorative streamers) have creases, and there are significant rolling marks. The bottom of the futai appears discolored? It's become brown, as if scorched. There are also black spots of dirt in various places. There are stain-like marks on the lower part of the front of the hanging scroll, and stains such as discoloration on the back of the hanging scroll as well. It's unclear whether it's due to long-term storage or the original smell of the hanging scroll itself, but there's a lingering scent of incense? Or perhaps the unique smell of a Japanese-style room? Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to odors. I may not have captured all the details in the photos, and there may be areas I haven't noticed.
