This is Ouchi dolls, a specialty of Yamaguchi Prefecture. The box contains a stand and two dolls, making it very compact. The traditional lacquered dolls are spherical and cute. As shown in photo 6, there is some paint chipping on the stand. It probably won't be noticeable if placed at the back. Recommended for those who like local folk crafts.
