I purchased this for DVD data dubbing (copying) in an environment without internet access, but it became unnecessary after I learned about the existence of HDDs. I bought it for around 66,000 yen, but I haven't used it much, so it's in beautiful condition with no scratches. I installed about two types of CD-related freeware that I used in the XP era, and it seemed to work smoothly, perhaps because of good compatibility, giving me the impression that it ran faster than Japanese PCs. There is no box, but there is a complete set of manuals. I am particular about GATEWAY, and since GATEWAY PCs are not sold in Japan, I purchased it from Amazon overseas. The AC cord works without any problems. I was able to set it up for Japanese using the setup instructions on a web explanation site. Set to Japanese time. Roman character input and Japanese conversion are also possible (some software remains in English). I will ship it with the Japanese settings changed.
