This is a chirimen (crepe) komon (small pattern) kimono with a sarasa (paisley) design. The deep blood orange and maroon base creates a profound and exotic atmosphere. I think it would look wonderful paired with a black lace blouse, a wine-red hanhaba obi (half-width obi) with a belt, and boots. I purchased this as a recycled item, but I haven't had a chance to wear it, so I would like to pass it on to someone who can use it in its beautiful condition. It is a beautiful item with the original stitching still in place. (There was a stain on the tip of the collar from the time of purchase.
