This is a very old iron tsuba. It depicts a landscape of mountains and water, rendered with gold inlay and carving. The thick, rugged construction and well-balanced, beautiful form are superb. It is well-forged and has a wonderful, deep black iron texture. It is very heavy, weighing about 175g. I believe it is an item from a very old era. 7.8 cm × 7.6 cm × 7.0 mm
