I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I bought at a recycle shop. It has a gorgeous pattern. It's a beautiful crimson color. The lining of the long bag is made from fabric of a nagajuban (long undergarment) that I bought as a bolt of cloth at a recycle shop. It has overall "yellowing". The lining of the body bag is the lining of the same kimono. The photo shows a Tsugaru shamisen inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Outer fabric: silk (furisode) Long bag lining: silk Body bag lining: unknown This is handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. The following are my personal thoughts... The shamisen's sound gets muffled when it's not played for a while, but I feel like it starts to sound better the more I play it. However, I feel like storing it in a long bag and body bag made of silk allows it to produce a good sound from the first strike. (*^^)
