ELK made in the 90s Celestion LB10 1516 No scratchiness was felt during testing. I think it simply sounds good. With HI-MID and LOW-MID knobs and Celestion's clear high frequencies, it produces sound that doesn't get muddy even at home volume. The condition is commensurate with its age, with oxidation of the plating and yellowing of the net.
