It is made of a material that will not crack even when placed directly over a flame. (Cannot be used for dry heating.) It was fired at 1200 degrees Celsius with a moss green glaze. 《Uses》 ● Boiling health teas (turmeric, Houttuynia cordata, Japanese gentian) ● Boiling barley tea ● Boiling water 《Handling Precautions》 ● Be careful of burns as it will be placed directly over a flame. ● As it is made of ceramic, it may break if dropped or struck. ● It is porous, so in the beginning, water may slightly seep out, but this will stop as it is used and the pores become clogged. 《Points to Note》 * Due to the hand-applied glaze, there may be slight variations in color intensity. Please refer to the photos. * The lid is made slightly smaller than the body. * Due to being in stock, the box may have faded colors. The product itself is not affected. * Due to the hand-applied glaze, there are some areas where the glaze appears rubbed. Please see the photos.
