They are suitable for blunt cuts as well as creating nuances with slide cuts. I remember purchasing them for 130,000 yen (excluding tax) at the time. You won't find them by searching for "Relax Scissors," but if you search for "Scissors Clinic Hiro," you'll find several articles that explain their dedication to quality. The clinic is now closed, so the manufacturer's warranty is not available, but they can still be sharpened and used. I had them sharpened by Hiro-san one last time before storing them, so I recommend having them sharpened and adjusted by a familiar sharpening service. They have bearings for smooth opening and closing, which was great, but I'm selling them because they no longer suit my current cutting style.
