This is Shogakukan's "Complete Andersen's Fairy Tales." I purchased it 46 years ago and have kept it on my bookshelf since then. It's old, so the outer box has some damage and discoloration, but the books themselves are relatively clean. Volume 3 has a tear in the outer cover. The text pages are clean, and it should be fine for reading. Translated by Kenji Takahashi, famous for his translations of Hesse. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned, as this is a personal item stored at home.
