I washed it once, but I treasured it too much and stored it in the cupboard without using it, and it has become a display piece (^^) *Item stored by a private individual ● Diameter → Approximately 30cm, Height → Approximately 2.5cm (Rim width approximately 2.2cm) *About Care* (Quoted) ▪️ About Materials Pottery is absorbent and prone to staining. Color may enter the cracks (called "kannyu") and become noticeable. Because it is made of clay, the color will change, and the more you use it, the more flavor it will develop. We hope you will nurture it day by day. ■ What to do before use First, wash it quickly with lukewarm water to remove dirt. You can use it immediately after washing it. If you put the dish in a pot with rice washing water and boil it for more than 20 minutes, let it cool, rinse it with water, and dry it, the rice washing water will fill the clay particles, making it less likely to stain with tea stains or other stains. Some dishes have a rough underside (kodai), so if there is a risk of scratching the table, it is best to lightly rub it with sandpaper. ■ Daily Handling As you use and wash it repeatedly, the clay will tighten and gradually become more durable. Soaking it in water or hot water before use will make it less likely to absorb dirt. ■ After Use After use, wash it quickly with water, lukewarm water, or dish soap, wipe it, and dry it well before storing it. Be careful not to leave it in dirty water, as mold and odors may develop because water can seep in and be difficult to remove.
