This is the second volume of Mitsuo Hanzawa's Historical Map of Fukushima, published on November 20, 1992. It is a meticulous field record, born from a desire to unearth and pass on the history of the region. It covers areas from Watari and Risshizan to Miyagi, Iwate, Yamagata, and the Kanto region. There are also records of traveling the Kitakami River north, tracing the "Narrow Road to the Deep North." It has creases from being folded in half for storage. There are also marks remaining from where the owner's rubber stamp was removed from the top edge (see photo).
