There are snap buttons on the hood so you can secure it when it's in the way.
There are also two snap buttons on the belly area so you can adjust the size.
There's also a D-ring on the back, so you can go for a walk without a harness.
This item is in good condition as it was only tried on once indoors when it arrived.
