This is a Jazz Bass type from History. It's a high-end model with a hard case, but it doesn't use sinker materials like Timeless Timber or Heritage Wood. A rugged finish, which creates a vintage feel, is applied to the metal and resin parts. It intentionally doesn't have the Circle Fretting System, suggesting it was made with the aim of producing a vintage-style sound rather than a modern one. The finish is a top lacquer finish, with nitrocellulose lacquer sprayed on the top. This also gives the surface a vintage feel. Please be aware that the finish may melt if you use a rubber stand. As you can see, I purchased it because of the careful wood selection and the beautiful appearance created by the high-quality wood, but I impulsively bought another bass, so I'm putting this one up for sale. Regarding the condition, there are no major scratches or stains that would detract from its appearance. I bought it used, but the previous owner seems to have purchased it around 2020. There are small dents and scratches on the body back, sides, end, and the neck around the truss rod hole. I apologize for my poor photography, but please check the photos. As mentioned earlier, the metal parts have a vintage-style finish, so it's difficult to distinguish scratches and dullness. The frets are also hardly worn. I've taken a photo of the most worn spot. The neck is generally straight as far as I've used it at home. However, there is one point, around the 4th string, 5th fret, where it seems to be lifting, and it buzzes quite a bit around that area. This can probably be resolved with partial fret leveling. Otherwise, I don't feel any major buzzing or dead spots. When I bought it, I turned the truss rod slightly in the forward bow direction, and it felt a little stiff. The strap pins had been changed to Schaller when I bought it. The pins for the strap side were not included... When shipping, I will pack it in the included hard case and cardboard. I will consider price reductions at my own discretion.
