I found this while decluttering the storage room at my parents' house. It appears to be a bag with carvings on the entire surface. Is it from China? Or is it from Japan? I don't know its origin. First, you lift the end of the handle and slide it sideways to remove the handle. Then, you can open the lid, which fits snugly.
