It's a cost-conscious machine, using low-friction materials for bearings, etc. The aim was a racing-inspired color scheme that doesn't detract from the beautiful original design. As it's a modified item, the condition is considered "like new." It's been kept for display, but has been fully set up. It was made with consideration for the cost of limited edition parts, body paint, masking, and the time spent on painting.
