Purchased from an antique kimono specialty store. I was told it was an exquisite crepe from the Taisho era. Hakkake (lining also with red and gold powder) If the dimensions fit and you don't mind the stains, I think it would be cute to wear for everyday wear, New Year's, Shichi-Go-San, or the Doll Festival. It's likely that if you adjust the length at the waist and shoulders, and sew up the sleeves, it would fit children around three years old, but I don't know much about children's clothing, so I'm not sure. If you can judge, please purchase. As it is a very old antique item, there may be stains and dullness overall, in addition to what is shown in the photos, but it is in a beautiful condition for a Taisho era kimono. There don't seem to be any large, noticeable stains or damage. Personally, I feel it is a beautiful antique item, but please purchase if you understand old items and antiques. Please refrain from returns or cancellations due to size, stated condition, color, or smell. I don't notice any concerning smells, but it is a very old item.
