This is an ornamental stone, shaped like Mount Fuji. The shape of the central bump closely resembles the remains of an eruption on the right shoulder of Mount Fuji. I purchased it about 40 years ago from an antique shop in front of the entrance to Okunoin Temple on Mount Koya, when ornamental stones for gardens and alcoves were booming. It cost around 100,000 yen. It's approximately 33 centimeters high, 60 centimeters wide, and 15 centimeters deep. I estimate the weight to be around 17-18 kilograms. If you display it, the auspicious shape of Fuji will be striking. For shipping, I will place it on a slatted base to make it easier to lift, so I will likely use Sagawa Express.
