This item is a 3075.2 from 1969, a second-generation model from the early 3075 series. The actual vehicle is the West German Federal Railroad V216 diesel locomotive. (V216 was changed from V160 due to a designation change in 1968.) It is a liquid-drive diesel locomotive that began operation in the West German Federal Railroad in the 1960s and is famous as the most successful vehicle forming the "V160 type family." In addition to freight, it seems to have been active in passenger transport, such as TEE, as shown in the photo. The main chassis is die-cast, and the body and wheel exterior (frame) are made of plastic. For the listing, the drive system has been completely disassembled and cleaned, and parts have been replaced, so it has been maintained. Running is very smooth, forward and backward. The reversing mechanism is also problem-free. The lights also illuminate brightly. The box is included, but the packaging and the Styrofoam inner case have tears, scratches, and other signs of aging, and the condition is not good. This product has been discontinued and is over half a century old since its manufacture. It is an old model, so the product condition is listed as "has scratches and dirt," but the body and windows have been disassembled and cleaned with a special German foam cleaning machine, and the windows have been treated with polymer, so the condition is relatively good.
