Similar dresses were also used in '#971 Easter Parade,' one of the three rarest vintage Barbie outfits. Those with tags inside are Apple Print Sheath, and those without are Easter Parade. The fabric print remains vibrant and crisp, with no stains, appearing to be in remarkably clean condition considering it's over 60 years old. All Barbie outfits from this era were made by Japanese seamstresses. The quality is exceptional, even in the stitching, making them seem like works of art. A YKK zipper, a proud product of Japan, is used. The sheath dress has a slit at the back hem, and this extra detail reflects a dedication to creating doll clothes that are realistic and easy to dress.
