I wore it about three times for autumn-winter mountain climbing. It has high heat retention, and I was able to enjoy winter mountain climbing with peace of mind with just this one layer over a base layer. However, I am selling it because the size was a little small for me. For reference, my height and weight are 179cm and 67kg, and I have a slender, muscular build. M was the best size for the R1. (Please note that this product is size S.) Patagonia sizing can be tricky, so please use this as a reference.
