This is a decorative paper mache horse from Tsuneishi, Hiroshima Prefecture. I believe it is a piece by the second-generation doll maker, Mineichi Miyamoto. Approximately 11cm x 3.5cm x 12cm (height) This item was purchased about 20 years ago and has been displayed on a doll shelf, so it is in good condition. However, there is some darkening and peeling of the surface paint characteristic of aged paper mache.
