When I bought it, it was wide-leg pants, but I made several tucks at the hem to create sarouel pants. It has a lining, so I think it will be very comfortable and warm. Both the outer and lining are 100% polyester. There's a 2cm elastic sewn into the back of the waist, but it can be removed easily if you don't need it.
