Purchased at an antique shop in Sweden, this hand-thrown compote is a beautiful item with a pink-beige earthenware base and a white, cream-like glaze. Size: Approximately 33 cm in diameter, 8.5 cm in height. The design is stabilized by three legs resembling swirled cookies. There is some slight discoloration due to age, but there are no cracks or chips, and the condition is good. The piece is a generous work, with rich expressions of a mermaid-like nymph and three-dimensional flowers.
