This is a small kyusu (teapot) made with Kutani-yaki's color-painted gold decoration. The blue grain pattern is adorned with gold, creating a piece that is both gorgeous and refined, typical of Kutani-yaki. It's a beautiful piece not only for sencha (green tea) but also as a decorative item. Size: Approximately 7cm in height Purchased several years ago. There are no noticeable chips or cracks. There are some crazing and signs of aging, so please purchase only if you understand and appreciate the characteristics of Japanese pottery.
