Multiple kimono fabrics may be used, so the fabric may vary depending on the location. It will be shipped folded small. Silk is excellent in moisture absorption, moisture release, quick-drying properties, and heat retention, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. It is also said to have skin beautifying and UV-cut effects. Genuine silk kimonos are used. As a way to identify genuine silk, I select based on the feel of the fabric, the fact that it is entirely hand-sewn, and combustion testing. I consider fading and discoloration to be part of the charm of vintage clothing.
