This is a small cloth/furoshiki (wrapping cloth) from Hamamonyo. The design seems to be inspired by "Kai-awase," a game played by Heian aristocrats using clam shells. I believe it's an elegant and gorgeous furoshiki. Made of 100% cotton, it's approximately 49cm square. It's a new, unused item, but it doesn't have any stickers or tags. It has been stored at home for a long time. For those who don't mind wrinkles, please consider purchasing.
