This gorgeous, vibrant yellow-green floral kimono is perfect for celebratory occasions! ♡ Condition: This was a gift, and it appears to be unused as the basting threads are still attached. It's in very beautiful condition, ready to wear immediately. Both the kimono and the long under-kimono (nagajuban) have basting threads at the hem (see images 9 and 18). It's a kimono for infants up to around 2 or 3 years old. It's also called "kakegi" (a kimono to be draped over a baby), "kodachi" (small tailoring) because it's sewn without a back seam, and in some areas, "noshime." For babies, you can wear it as is without adjusting the hems. ☺︎ Having a hitotsu-mi kimono with a celebratory pattern allows you to use it for various occasions, such as the first meal ceremony (okuizome), the first seasonal festival (hatsu-zekku), New Year's, and for Shichi-Go-San (Seven-Five-Three) after adjusting the shoulder and waist hems, allowing you to use it for a long time! ♩ ☑️ I inspect items carefully, but I may miss minor stains.
